Nicholas A. Read, based within Oxfordshire for ten years, prior to that Putney London with too many years experience to mention.

In brief, I started my career at a classic high street photographers in Berkshire from there I moved to London and spent three years at the in house studio of JWT advertising. After this I went freelance as an assitant. I worked with several noted photographers culminating in the permanent posistion of 1st assistant to Norman Parkinson OBE.

The next stage was the transistion from assistant to photographer, starting out with quarter page features within Womans Own and Woman. In time progress was achieved and the commissions improved, encompassing the many aspects of the photographic trade, a variety which I enjoy to this day.
